둘이였을때 최악일지라도 하나는 외롭다.
엑스파일 영화에 수록된 트랙으로 해외 락매니아 사이에서도 그 음반내 가장 좋은
곡으로 인정받고 있다.
한국내에서 필터는 그리 알려져 있지 않으나 내가 가장 좋아하는 밴드중 하나.
지금은 해체되었는지 음반이 나오지 않고 있다.
중학굔지 고등학교땐지 기억도 안나는데 KMTV의 R.U.READY 란 프로그램에서
메소드 맨과 이 노래를 들은 기억이 나는데 난 그때 이런 세상에 대해 처음으로 관심을 가지게 했고
락이든 힙합이든 이런 하드하면서 그루브하고 음울한 음악에 빠지도록 만든 곡이다.
또한 어린시절 혼자 스스로 타락하게 되기 시작하게 만든 시발점 같기도 하다.
그때도 좋아했지만 아직도 NIN의 We are in this together 와 더불어
가장 많이 들은 곡이고 또 내가 가장 좋아하는 곡이다.
지금도 기분이 우울하거나 화로 가득차있을땐 이 노래를 들으면서 위안을 받는다.
